Finies les vacances...

tja!

today I'll write in English so that friends who don't understand French can read this blog...
To begin with, i spent a very good but tiring week. Good because i went to several nice places and did cool things. For instance, on tuesday, we went to Lapland, to a sort of park where there were
only local animals...that was cool.
Erik came too, and I could see that I'm not the only one who's a bit childish sometimes =P
On Thursday, Helga and I went down town so that she made me visit the center. so we went there by bus and had a look at a few stores that was quite cool compared to the ones in France. When we got back home, we met two friends of Helga, and one of them was like...really, really excited when she saw I was there.
She asked Helga in which class I was goin to be, so Helga answered "sam"; so the girl (I don't know her name) said something like "yeah!" she'll be with me!"...But then Helga said I was going in the third year, so the girl was very disappointed, but the scene was quite funny, actually.
Then, in the evening, I went to a festival called "Edge" with Helga and her best friend. Well,it was
both about music and other things. We just hung round there for a while and then we met other friends of Helga's. I didn't understand what they were saying exactly but I could understand the topics of their conversations and guessed what was being said sometimes. So I'm kinda happy right
now, because I understand more than last week.
However, on saturday night, we were invited to friends of Ola and Ingmarie's, and I understood almost nothing. But the food was good and the people were very nice too, so it was ok...! And around midnight,
Sigrid, Helga and I went to "Edge" again to see a concert from a famous group of Umeå named Industri royal. And it was just great, really!!!
Besides, Helga had her first day in High School yesterday, and I think she was a bit anxious, but
finally she is pleased with her class and all... And tomorrow, Sigrid and I will have to go to school too...and I am a little afraid too now...But I guess all will be fine. except that i won't understand anything the first days...i think that can be quite fun, actually ;)
