Buongiorno!
I know I say this too often, but 'time passes sooo fast!'... I've been here for already two months, and when I think about certain things, it seems to me they happened a few days ago, though they did much more time ago. LIke...the first lessons, the day we went to Lapland, the days it was still hot outside (yes, that's true, it used to be hot here), and so forth... And now I realise how fast the nine months left will pass too. But life passes fast anyway...
Well, I'm getting away from the goal of that article: the weekly report. Hmm, actually, last week wasn't the best one I had. On tuesday, I fell asleep again after my alarm clock ring, so I kind of skipped the Italian class; and I finally went to school at 2pm, because Kristina (the Swedish and History teacher) was in Finland and we thus had quite a long håltimme (spelling?)... ON Wednesday, nothing really special, apart from the fact I got 8-IG in Religion, which is extremely bad. Actually, I hadn't worked enough, but the teacher is persuaded it's because I didn't understand the questions...So I let her believe that...
Given that I've been tired and all for days, Ingmarie drove me to the doctor and I had to do a blood analysis or something. I don't know the correct English term for that. Anyway. I'm anemic (not enough iron in the blood), but it's not that serious...
Now let me switch to something much more interesting: on Friday, the Embassador (?) of South Africa went to Östra (my school) for a conference. She talked about apartheid, politics, and so on...And it made me want to spend some time in SA even more.
Except that, I went outside with the bike on sunday morning and took some pictures of things that you, dear readers, have to see. But the weather wasn't that good, so the light wasn't great either, and the pics are not as nice as I would have liked them to be... Anyway, over-blog has a problem withs pictures, and I can't put them on this blog anymore, but I'll try to find a way to show them to you soon. For now, I can put one in this article, that's all.
(here is the bridge people from Umeå are so proud of...I don't understand why, because it's ONLY a bridge...but still. it seems to be quite important to them, so...)
Ohhh I was about to forget: yesterday night, we had that long looked-for French Evening. Frans kväll. I was with Lovisa, Anny, Caro, and Amanda joined us after her work. WHAT is a French Evening? Well, it was just about eating cheese and baguette, and listening to French music, and so on...That was nice. And since Lovisa is sings so well in French (that's not ironical. She does sing really well), here is a short film of her performance.
